Both of the editors of this volume have ties to Texas Wesleyan. Twyla Miranda has been Professor of Education at Texas Wesleyan University since 1990. Jeffrey Herr, who is currently an Associate Professor at Tarrant County College, has taught some courses as an adjunct professor here. Each of them has contributed chapters to this book. There are some other contributors with ties to Texas Wesleyan. Nakia S. Pope was the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) for a number of years. Maryann Felps earned her M.Ed. in English Communications from Texas Wesleyan. Shane Naterman earned his Ed.D. From Texas Wesleyan.
