A collection of newspapers primarily chronicling the events surrounding the assasination of President John F. Kennedy, from the day of the assasination itself through his burial the following week. A copy of President Kennedy's inaugural address is included as well.

Biographical Note

Carl W. Maupin was a resident of Austin, Texas when President Kennedy was assasinated. He collected these newspapers at that time, and saved them. Mr. Maupin died in March 1998.
