The theme of the conference was “Reimagine Discipleship.” The book includes guides for the Opening Worship Service; the Retirement Service; the Service of Commissioning and Ordination; the Memorial Service; and the Sending Forth service. The document includes information about where the clergy were to be stationed for the ensuing year (pages 32-43).

Brittney Douglas, the Copy Cataloging and ILL Clerk at the West Library, received this guide when she attended portions of the Central Texas Annual Conference with her husband, Eric Douglas, who was a clergy member of the annual conference serving as the minister at Smithfield United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. She donated it to the Special Collections & University Archives after the conference was over.
